The Scanning Clerk is responsible for maintaining high standards of pricing integrity throughout the entire store. The Scanning Clerk ensures all pricing is accurate and understandable to our customers. They share responsibility for ensuring price scanners and printers are operational and scanning correctly with Store Managers/Assistant Store Managers. In addition, they maintain an accurate scanning price file for all items, as well as, assist with proper product rotation and item placement/removal following all state pricing laws, company guidelines, processes, procedures and best practices. The Scanning Clerk will take advice and direction from the Store Manager and/or Assistant Store Manager.

Requires facilitating effective communication between all departments in order to provide the best catering experience for the customer. Must have pleasant phone manners, and be sales motivated. Must effectively lead the Catering Department by training all Catering Clerks/Drivers about job operations, product knowledge, sales skills, and providing the best customer service in the industry. Able to create efficient department schedules on the company’s workforce management software that aligns with payroll budgets.
