The Assistant Sales Manager strategically maximizes performance of their perishable department by assisting with creating and executing sales plans and pricing programs which support company business plans and initiatives. The Assistant Sales Manager assists the Sales Manager to assess the department’s business and provides insights of sales, pricing, promotions, and other growth opportunities. Works with existing vendor base to negotiate terms and develop new incentive programs. Identifies measurable key performance indicators (KPIs) and creates forecast assumptions for various customer segments and sellers.
